First Quranic TV Network Launched at Tunisia

The first Quranic TV network in Tunisia was launched Monday, September 1, concurrent with the first day of Ramadan. According to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), the Hanbal Al-Ferdows religious and Quranic TV network aims to spread real and moderate Islamic thought and confront extremist ideas. The Hanbal Al-Ferdows Quranic TV network broadcasts programs on Tarteel recitation of verses of the holy Quran, narrations of great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), prayers, exegeses of the holy Quran, different religious series featuring tolerance, mercy and sublime values in view of Islam, as well as Friday prayers sermons. Analysts believe that the establishment of the TV network is an important step towards spreading real Islamic thought and preserving young Muslims from being trapped in extremist movements. There is also a radio station in Tunisia called "Al-Zaytuna" which broadcasts various religious and Quranic programs.

The idea of learning  Quran Online is a very practical and convenient one for students as well as the tutors.
