FASTING & ITIKAF INTERCONNECTED

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)
Fasting month comes to us with great opportunities and this is where if thought that what can one want in the Month of Ramadan? Well, it is the time where one is provided with enormous options that can help a believer to purify its belief and make the real difference, while evading from all the evil thoughts which distracts him away from the Creator, ALLAH (SWT).
Yes, that is right Fasting and Things To Avoid During ITIKAF helps you to understand and make the real difference where one is given the option to devote their will and submit to the One & Only, Allah (SWT). Well, Itikaf is an act of worship that helps you to devote your time and attention to make the real difference and this is where you are told that:
Hence the Salaf regarded it as mustahabb to combine fasting and I’tikaf. Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said: “It was not reported that the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, ever did I’tikaf when he was not fasting. Indeed, ‘Aa’ishah, may Allaah be pleased with Her, said: ‘There is no I’tikaf except with fasting.’” (Abu Daawood(
Thus the above contributes to the above that our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) did not performed Itikaf without & Allah (SWT) did not mention Itikaf except in conjunction to fasting and this is where we are affirmed that fasting and Itikaf are interconnected to be performed while making it the most ideal worship to perform in the special month of Ramadan.
