You might have studied many books, magazines and journals. But every such book targets one particular area and that book does not guarantee of its correctness and the completeness. All such books write at the start that, “Please give suggestions to improve next edition or you can post any errors in this edition to my id etc”. The result is no book is complete and correct even in one particular domain. It is Quran, the last revelation which says, “This is the book in which there is no doubt” [Surah Al- Baqra: Verse: 2]
Centuries have passed since the Quran was revealed on the heart of Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and till now nothing is found in Quran which is wrong in this modern world. And since then it is, as it was revealed. Quran is the last heavenly book and is the only one in its original state.
The above preview is given to let you know the significance of Holy Quran. If this book is of that much importance then how we should use it? Quran is no doubt a guide but only when we read, understand and act accordingly. Only recitation is not enough to get its full benefit. The real benefit is to get you purified from sins and achieve the real goal of this life.
Scholars give example of a driving vehicles guide book, if you get it, read it and learn it by heart. When you come on the road you do not obey the traffic rules, though you know the rules but only knowing is not enough, you have to act if you want real benefit. So is the Quran, if you do not act according to its orders, you cannot expect that you are successful in the eternal world.
